LateRooms.com – Masterpiece Fair 2010 London Offers ‘Unique Showcase’

The Masterpiece Fair 2010 London is set to offer attendees a unique selection of fine art, wine, jewellery and cars at its Chelsea Barracks venue, according to the organisers.

Running from June 24th to 29th, this event is sure to offer something to entice travellers in London hotels with money to burn.

An example of the sort of motor vehicles people can expect to see at the show is a recently confirmed 1932 Bugatti, which is being displayed by car specialist Coys and costs GBP3 million.

Commenting on the show, director of Apter-Fredericks Harry Apter highlighted a particularly impressive table as a must-see item for individuals who go to the fair.

He noted that there were four made by a man named George Parker, with two currently housed in Windsor Castle and the other one unable to be located at the present time.

Mr Apter explained: “It’s the most fantastic table; it’s what we call ormolu, which is gilded bronze, tortoise shell and ebony with a leather top.”

The fair will be open to the public on Thursday (June 24th) from 11:00 to 18:00 BST, with the venue staying open until 20:00 on Friday and Saturday.

Tickets can be purchased by phone – on 020 7499 7470 – or by post and cost GBP20.

For more information on this event visit the Masterpiece Fair 2010 London website or contact the venue on 020 1234 5678.

Unity Bank Hosts 4th Annual Classic Car Show

Unity Bank will host its fourth annual Cruisin’ Bob’s Classic Car Show on the grounds of its Clinton headquarters on Sunday, June 27, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The popular area car show and fun-filled day of family activities will benefit both the Interfaith Hospitality Network and The ARC of Hunterdon County.

According to Unity Bank Vice President/Marketing Director, Rosemary Fellner, “Bob Rittelman, the founder of this popular event, had a passion for classic cars. Bob’s wife, Debbie, of Dicken’s Lane Jewelers, has continued her dedicated work as a founder of the show, knowing that Bob would be extremely proud of the tremendous outpouring of support for these very deserving local charities.”

In addition to dozens of classic cars, the event offers a fun-filled family day with games, prizes and music by Doctor D. Entertainment, who will also serve as Master of Ceremonies for the show. There will also be an open-air market, food and beverages. One lucky spectator will be chosen at random for a 30-second opportunity to grab up to $300 dollars in the “Blizzard of Dollars” booth!

In a “first” for the car show, a wedding celebration, officiated by Ruthann Disotell, a Certified Celebrant with Celebration of a Lifetime, will take place at 1:30. Ms. Disotell has generously offered to officiate the ceremony for the couple who has changed their wedding date numerous times due to financial challenges. The couple feels that the car show provides the perfect venue for their marriage because their family and friends can benefit two worthy charities while celebrating their union. Bill Ivy, of Cinematic Eye, has agreed to videotape the ceremony for the couple, free of charge. Unity Bank will also provide one member of the couple with a 30-second opportunity in the “Blizzard of Dollars” booth.

The Interfaith Hospitality Network of Hunterdon County, Inc., ministers to the needs of low-income families, homeless families and women by providing temporary housing, meals and relief for other physical needs through a network of committed congregations throughout Hunterdon County. The Network advocates for and seeks affordable housing, transportation and living wage employment; it also provides counseling, case management and mentoring services to guide program participants in their quest to re-establish their self-pride and sense of independence.

The ARC of Hunterdon County provides support, training and opportunities to those with developmental disabilities, enabling them to achieve the greatest degree of independence and productivity and, in turn, become contributing, responsible and proud members of society. The ARC mission includes support to the families of those with developmental disabilities by enhancing the quality of life for all family members.

Pre-registration for classic car owners, with a donation of $10.00, is open until June 21. A registration fee of $15.00 is required for those who register on the day of the show. Sponsorship opportunities also are available for local businesses and those who wish to market their products/services to local businesses and residents; pre-registration is required by June 21.

Orlando Automotive Repair and Transmission Repair Center Announces Grand Opening

Select Automotive is scheduled to open for business on Monday, June 14th in Orlando, Florida to provide a variety of services to the residents and businesses of Orlando and the surrounding areas. This new Orlando Auto Repair shop is hoping to become the major resource for all automotive related needs for the Orlando area.

They are targeting several markets in the area that have long been plagued with shady businesses that have over charged consumers and even performed work that was not needed.

“The entire staff will be managed by an ASE certified technician with 15 years of experience and work will be performed by ASE certified technicians,” states Tiffany Ellis, public relations manager of Select Automotive. “The equipment is new, the technology is new, but the practices, honor and customer service is old school, where people are taking care of people again instead of just a bottom line.”

The company is also providing transmission repair, along with towing in Orlando, 24 hour emergency services, paint and body shop, and even auto detailing services to make them the one-stop shop for all the people and businesses in the Orlando area.
