LateRooms.com – Barcelona Hosts Parallel Benet Rossell Exhibition

Art enthusiasts can find a welcome distraction from the Fifa World Cup by heading down to the Museu D’Art Contemporani de Barcelona (Macba), where an exhibition of Benet Rossell’s is on display.

Running until January 23rd 2011, the collection includes examples of the Frenchman’s calligraphies, as well as his films, offering visitors from Barcelona hotels a detailed display of his creations with such mediums.

“His work includes an array of disciplines, from drawing and signic writing, painting and the occasional tapestry or ceramic piece, to art action and performance, experimental and commercial film, poetry and theatre and others,” explained the Macba.

Rossell was born in 1937 and went on to create a great number of intriguing masterpieces, such as Kaleidoscope, Micro-Opera 2 and Cerimonials.

This show includes many videos that have never been exhibited before, making it a real opportunity to gain detailed insight into the artist’s work.

People may be surprised that his exhibition does not follow the conventional chronological progression used in art spaces, but the organisers state this has been done on purpose to link the pieces.

Rossell was not always an artist, he began studying law, economics and sociology, but was drawn to more creative pursuits.

To visit this exhibition of his artistic efforts, tourists can head down to the Macba weekdays from 11:00 (local time), with the building closing at 20:00 Monday to Wednesday and midnight on Thursdays and Fridays.

At the weekend, the venue opens at 10:00, with doors shutting at 20:00 on Saturdays and 15:00 on Sundays.

Entrance costs EUR6 for just a temporary exhibition such as this or EUR7.50 for the whole museum.

For more information on this event visit the Macba website or contact the venue on +34 93 412 08 10.

To make the most of the Parallel Benet Rossell – you should consider booking your hoteles Barcelona to avoid disappointment.

Surgeons Seeing Great Results with Subfascial Breast Augmentation in Phoenix, Arizona

As the field of plastic surgery advances, new techniques to ensure better results with less discomfort are constantly being developed. In the area of breast augmentation, one of these newer developments is subfascial placement of breast implants. The three plastic surgeons at Advanced Aesthetic Associates (www.aaaplasticsurgery.com) offer this type of placement as an option for women seeking breast augmentation in Phoenix, Arizona.

“Subfascial breast augmentation can achieve superior results for many of our breast augmentation patients,” says board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Remus Repta of Advanced Aesthetic Associates. “The results tend to look and feel more natural and there is the added benefit that patients seem to experience much less discomfort after surgery. We still offer submuscular and subglandular placement options as well. Since each placement location has different benefits and drawbacks, we develop a unique treatment plan for each of the patients at our plastic surgery practice in Phoenix and help them choose the option that will give them the best result possible.”

In addition to subfascial breast augmentation, there are two other options for implant placement: under the pectoral muscle (submuscular placement) and directly behind the breast tissue (subglandular placement). Subfascial breast augmentation places the under the connective tissue covering the pectoral muscle. While the subfascial technique may require a higher level of surgical skill than other placement options, the surgeons at Advanced Aesthetic Associates have found that it combines the benefits of both submuscular and subglandular placement, and they have the skill to perform it successfully.

“When we discuss the benefits of subfascial placement, we’re talking about the factors that really matter to patients,” explains board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Pablo Prichard of Advanced Aesthetic Associates. “First, our evidence suggests that it has all the benefits of sub-muscular placement in terms of prevention of capsular contraction and maintaining implant position. However, since the implant is in front of the muscle, there’s no athletic restriction after the procedure and there is no breast animation (breast moving) with contraction of the chest muscle. Recovery time is quicker and more comfortable. And, what’s very important for any woman considering breast augmentation, the result is natural-looking.”

The surgeons at Advanced Aesthetic Associates are committed to bringing their patients advanced, leading edge techniques for enhancement of face, body, breasts and skin. In addition to subfascial breast enlargement in Phoenix, some of these exciting new procedures include removal of auxiliary sweat glands and liposuction using only local anesthesia. The practice also offers the latest technology and medical devices to achieve their patients’ goals, such as IPL Photofacial, Fraxel, and Sculptra Aesthetic.

“We’re a progressive practice,” explains Dr. Lewis Albert Andres of Advanced Aesthetic Associates. “With three surgeons from diverse backgrounds, each of us with substantial experience and skill, we are able to find creative solutions to meet our patients’ needs. Although we make beautiful results and safe methods two of our top priorities, we place equal emphasis on developing close relationships with our patients. We foster an environment of open communication, empathy, and individual attention, so our patients are comfortable throughout every step of the process.”

Dr. Remus Repta, Dr. Lewis Albert Andres, Dr. Pablo Prichard and their well-trained staff at Advanced Aesthetic Associates (www.aaaplasticsurgery.com) take pride in being at the forefront of plastic surgery in Phoenix. They offer patients safe and effective techniques to provide beautiful results. Each surgeon is skilled in reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery procedures for face, body, breast and skin. They provide an exceptional level of patient care, treating each patient with respect and empathy. Through open communication and plenty of face-to-face time, they develop and individualized treatment plan for every patient.
