Devil’s Son Encounters Cross of Jesus Christ

In his book Out of the Devil’s Caldron: A Journey from Darkness to Light, John Ramirez tells the story of how he was trained to be the third-ranked high priest of a satanic cult (Santeria) in New York City–casting powerful witchcraft spells and controlling entire spiritual regions. But what started as a long spiral into the underworld ended in a miraculous encounter with God that changed his life.

See how this book impacted other people’s lives:

“WOW! This book had me enthralled from page one all the way to the end. While many will be fascinated by how this true life story unmasks and sheds light on the truth of so much of what is veiled in the world of the occult; the real story here is the human interest: the story of abuse, neglect and pain that turns a boy to evil and the love and mercy of an all-too-real God that redeems his soul. This is a MUST read…” –Peter Torres

“Ramirez preaches reality through every chapter of his book to those caught in the web and deception of a dark world. He holds back nothing and exposes all. Rescued by a miraculous encounter, he describes the chilling details of a night of anguish as he spirals down to hell and finds himself at the cross of mercy.” — The Pen of a Ready Writer

“I found Out of the Devil’s Caldron to be quite an interesting and enlightening read. The book definitely is a warning to all believers in Christ that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against invisible spiritual entities. The author narrated his personal experiences including times when he was humiliated. I read this book and saw clearly the power of the cross of Jesus Christ.” –Idemudia Guobadia

“John Ramirez’s testimony reads like the fast-paced script of a major motion picture, capturing the loneliness and heartbreak of a young boy who yearned for a father figure and found it in the devil. As he grew into manhood, John moved up the ranks in the occult religions of Santeria and Palo Mayombe, achieving a status that garnered him money, power, women–anything he wanted–but nearly cost him his soul. Yet God had other plans for him and literally snatched him back from the brink of hell.” –Wordsmith

“This is a MUST READ! You won’t be disappointed. It flows so well, I was done in two days! Many things I wondered about and even encountered from the occult world were laid bare. I so appreciate this man for telling the truth. Please get two copies, one for you and one for a friend.” –Noni

“I found John Ramirez’s story to be a real page-turner. I couldn’t put the book down because its a compelling read on two levels. First and foremost, this is a story of God’s amazing love even for one who openly rejected Him. John Ramirez talks about his painful childhood and how he came to experience the reality of God’s love for him–a touching and beautiful story. Truly, God reaches out His hand to us all—even those who worship demons as John Ramirez did. But there’s another level to this book. You’ll get a real window into the workings of the kingdom of darkness and how it operates. Demons and demon worship really exist folks! The author knows. He was at the highest level you could get to in Santeria. As an insider, he gives you a unique look at how that realm operates. What John Ramirez has to teach us about how Satan operates makes this book a must-read in my opinion.” –Lori

Out of the Devil’s Caldron walks you through the dark alleys of the occult religions of Santeria, Palo Mayombe, and espiritismo (spiritualism) while exposing the hidden secrets of darkness. Be held in suspense as you read each chapter of this chilling true story of the life of a Santeria high priest and his journey from darkness to light.

AsiaRooms.com – Celebrate Khao Phansa on Koh Samui

People staying in Koh Samui hotels in July will find that the island’s Buddhist community is preparing for one of its biggest festivals.

On July 19th, the period of Buddhist Lent – known as Khao Phansa – will begin.

For three months, the monks will be confined to their temple complexes and will focus on meditation and following the teachings of Buddha.

According to Buddhist history, this practice began during the rainy season to prevent monks from damaging rice crops or treading on any insects.

The tradition is still observed in monasteries all over the country, so people staying in any Thailand hotels will be able to watch the ceremonies associated with the start of Khao Phansa.

Buddhist temples up and down the nation hold celebrations to mark the beginning of Khao Phansa, with some regions holding colourful parades to signify the start of this Lent period.

Holidaymakers who want to witness the spectacle will find that there are plenty of Buddhist temples on Koh Samui to visit.

Among them are Wat Phra Yai – home to a large seated golden Buddha statue – Wat Khun Aram – which houses the mummified remains of a Buddhist monk – and Wat Sumret, a temple that boasts a wide range of images of the peaceful deity.
