Dr. David Massaro, Professor of Education for Lewis-Clark State College, has been recognized by Cambridge Who’s Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in higher education.
Dr. Massaro has 43 years of overall professional experience. As a professor, he teaches educational psychology, coordinates the non-traditional education program and the distance learning program, and visits interns in the region. In addition Dr. Massaro teaches mathematics and science methods to the non-traditional education candidates during their first internship. He earned his Ph.D. in Science Education from The University of Akron.
In 2008, Dr. Massaro received the College President’s Outstanding Teacher Award. He is a member of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, the National Science Teachers Association, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Additionally, he is a member of the National Association for Research in Science Teaching, the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, and the International Society for Technology in Education.
Lewis-Clark State College is located at Lewiston, Idaho, where two rivers (Clearwater and Snake), two cities (Lewiston and Clarkston) and two states (Idaho and Washington) come together.
